Frequently Asked Questions
Where are my photos stored?
Your photos and videos are stored safely in your own Google Drive account under a dedicated family folder (e.g. [BabyName]-memories). TARA stores low-res base64 thumbnails in MongoDB for fast scrolling.
Who can see my family album?
Only family members who receive your 12-character invite code and are approved by family parents/admins can access your album.
How do I invite grandparents or relatives?
Go to the Family tab (/family), copy your unique 12-character Invite Code, and share it with your relative. They can join via 'I have an Invite Code'.
Is my data sold or shared?
No. TARA never sells, rents, or shares your personal data, Google account info, or family photos with advertisers or third parties.
